HDTV Antennas

I recently went to Best Buy to purchase an HD Antenna. I was surprised that there were so many choices as well as which one worked for me.

I purchased three to try out and return the two I didn't use. One was an RCA digital flat antenna for $30. One was a Terk amplified antenna for $80. The other was an outdoor antenna for $120.

I figured I'd put one in our master bedroom closet and see what kind of reception to get hoping to get ABC for college football in the fall. I started with the RCA one. I was shocked to find that with it in our closet I get ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX!

So I learned to place a cheap antenna as high as possible and if you live in a city, you'll most likely get all four networks. I'll be returning the other 2 antennas today.

Also, I was able to use the existing coaxial cables ran throughout our house and simply plug the antenna into the one in our bedroom and connect the correct cables in our cable box outside to get the signal sent to our basement.

Hope this helps someone! !-- Scripts Start -->
